Things You'll Need:
- 1 can cream of mushroom
- Milk
- Bowtie pasta
- Spices (pepper, garlic, salt)
- Cheese
- Canned chicken (chunked)
- Green onions
- Large pot
- Strainer
- Baking dish
-
Step 1
Turn on oven and pre-heat to about 400 degrees
-
Step 2
Pasta: Fill the large pot with water and bring it to a light boil. Dump pasta into the pot and cook for about 10 minutes on med-hi heat. When pasta is finished, dump pasta into a strainer and rinse in the sink.
-
Step 3
Grate the cheese (or cut it into thin slices)
-
Step 4
Chop the green onions
-
Step 5
Pour pasta, 1 can of cream of mushroom, 1 cup of milk and 1 can of canned chicken breast into the baking dish. Mix everything together. If you have trouble mixing in the baking dish then try using a mixing bowl to mix the ingredients.
-
Step 6
Add pepper, garlic (chopped cloves or powdered garlic), and salt to taste. Do not go overboard with the spices (especially if you are cooking for a date).
-
Step 7
Sprinkle or lay cheese on top of everything.
-
Step 8
Put baking dish into the over for about 20 minutes. Watch it to make sure that it does not get burnt.
-
Step 9
Remove baking dish from over. Wait for it to cool a little bit and serve.

on 9/16/2009 This dish is suggested as a quick, easy and not too frequent meal. It contains a lot of salt as will most any dish that uses a canned ingredient such as soup (or when you eat out at a restaurant). Almost any type of pasta (including whole grain pasta) or rice (including brown rice) can be used depending on your taste buds and diet requirements.

on 9/13/2009 THIS IS NOT COOKING - BUT IT IS QUICK - LOADED WITH SALT (SOUP AND STARCHY CORNSTARCH-THE CANNED CHICKEN SITS IN BRINE, ALSO SALTY) AND THEN THERE'S THE PASTA WHICH IS NOT WHOLE WHEAT OR MULTI-GRAIN)
