There are many reasons you want to surf the internet anonymously.

There are many ways to do this.
You can surf the web via proxy server, conceal / hide your search habits online, use a fake email address and use of Antivirus and anti-spyware protection.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First decide if you want to use software or a website to cloak your IP and surfing Habits.
Here are two options you can use anonymizer.com and hidemyass.com

By using these websites you cloak your IP and computer behind proxy servers. This prevents people from tracking who came to the site, thus protecting you.

  2. Step 2

Clear or do not save your browsing history, cookies and search/form data.

  3. Step 3

Use a fake email address that cannot be linked to you. Sign up for a free email account at gmail, yahoo or hotmail that does not include your name or anything that can be tracked to you. Use this email for your day to day internet usage. Shopping, websites, memberships or chatting. Anything you do on the net.

When you setup the email address enter fake information. John Doe, 123 Elm St...etc

  4. Step 4

Antivirus and Anti-Spyware is a must with any Microsoft Windows PC. Make sure you keep it updated to help it identify the latest viruses and spyware that will try to attack and infect your computer.
