    Face Your Fears and Anxiety:

    Overcoming your fears is about facing them head on. When you become familiar with something you know what to expect and you are less surprised. Oftentimes you may have a misperception or irrational anxiety about something.

  2. Step 2

    Talk to Others:

    Communicating your fear is one way to overcome and conquer. Sometimes just getting something off your chest can be a big relief. Other people may also be able to pacify your anxiety because they know something you don’t. It may also be a fear that someone can accompany you to resolve such as flying. Maybe they could hold your hand or just be next to you on a plane.

  3. Step 3

    Learn More about your fear:

    If you are afraid of flying talk to a pilot. Let him assure you of how safe it is to fly. Or if you feel you can conquer your fears by using mind over matter see a hypnotist or a counselor or psychologist. Them may be able to help you think differently about your fears.
