A full meat, potato and vegetable meal hot and ready in one container and all you have to do when ready is just slice and serve. But never get tired of the same "old" combination as with this recipe you will be able to mix and combine all of your favorite vegetables, some meats, soups and spices. With a preparation time including cooking of under 90 minutes, most of which is forget about it in the oven, who can go wrong? Try this with your families favorite combination's and enjoy!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 9X13 pan
  • 1 1/2 -2 lbs ground meat
  • can of condensed soup
  • can of vegetables drained
  • grated cheese (optional)
  • tater tots
  1. Step 1

Pat ground meat into bottom of 9X13" pan. No thicker than 1/2 inch deep to allow for complete cooking in 60 minutes at 350 degrees. Ground meat may be beef, turkey, or sausage.

  2. Step 2

Choose a coordinating can of "cream of" soup. I prefer cream of mushroom or cream of mushroom and garlic. Sometimes I use a nacho cheese soup. Spoon right from can over meat and spread on top of the meat.

  3. Step 3

Take a can of vegetables and drain off the liquid. Put the vegetable on top of the soup layer. I have used corn, mixed vegetable, green beans or what ever seems to go with what I have put together.

  4. Step 4

This step is optional. You may add shredded cheese of your choosing to this layer on top of the vegetables.

  5. Step 5

The last layer is a layer of tater tots frozen right from the bag. Put them on in any design.

  6. Step 6

Oven should be pre-heated to 350 degrees. Bake the hot dish for 60 minutes or longer if tater tots aren't brown. It is important to let this dish cool for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.

Tips & Warnings
  • Leftovers heat up well in the microwave.
  • Leftovers freeze well in the freezer.
  • Have fun making many variations
  • Salt and pepper layers to your taste or allow individuals to season their own.
