The Samsung A900 was a cell phone manufactured for Sprint customers. Even though newer versions of the phone are no longer made, you can still purchase Samsung A900 phones online. If you have recently purchased a new Samsung A900 or had to revert to your old phone due to a problem with your current phone, you may wish to upload new ringtones to the A900. Myxer is a website that allows you to make and upload free ringtones to any Samsung A900.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Select an audio file on your computer that you want to make into a Samsung A900 ringtone. This can be an MP3, M4A/AAC, WAV or WMA file. Sign up for an account on the Myxer website (see link in Resources). Enter both an email address and your Samsung A900 phone number when creating this account.

  2. Step 2

Go to the "Ringtones" page on Myxer (see link in Resources). Click "Select File" on the right side of the Myxer page. Search for and choose the audio file you chose in Step 1.
Click "Upload." A window will open.

  3. Step 3

Type in the start time for your Samsung A900 ringtone in the "Start" box. Enter a value for how long you would like the Samsung A900 to play in the "Length" text box. Preview your Samsung A900 by clicking "Play." Make any necessary changes in length and start time.

  4. Step 4

Click "Continue" and your phone number will appear in the window. Click "Next" in the window. You will be asked to confirm. Select "Send." Your Samsung A900 will receive a message from Myxer and two cell phone images will appear in the window on the Myxer page. Follow the instructions located in the two cell phone images to save the ringtone to your Samsung A900.

Tips & Warnings
  • Since the Samsung A900 receives a message from Myxer, you may be charged a fee by your cell phone carrier for using the Myxer service. The ringtone you create on the website, however, is free for you to use.
