How to Find Out What Grants You Qualifiy for
Grants are often referred to as "free money no one can find." But there is a way to find grant funding and know exactly what grants you qualify for. You must, first, create an applicant account with www.grants.gov and complete all of the necessary steps and actions required to obtain eligibility for grant qualifications.

Access the U.S. government's official grant website, www.grants.gov.

Create an applicant account. Click on the "Get Registered" action. You will be prompted to select whether you are applying as an individual or organization. Double-click on your selection, and you will be redirected to the application. Click on the "Register with Grants.gov" link to begin the registration process.

Search for grant availability. Once you have registered with the site, you will be redirected to the homepage. Click on the "Find Grant Opportunities" link that will be also listed below the "For Applicants" section of the page in the left pane of the screen.

Review the available grant database. Click on the "Basic Search" link and you will be redirected to a full catalog of grant opportunities the government has available. Select your desired category, and grant opportunities that match your registration information will appear. The site will display only grants that you qualify for.
