How to Download Music From IMEEM to iPod
IMEEM is a free-streaming online radio station and music player similar to other online music players such as Pandora. IMEEM works by allowing users to enter a favorite band or artist to create a station. The program then selects similar music to play for the user. IMEEM Mobile is the cell-phone version of the program, and it works on devices such as the Apple iPhone and the iPod Touch.

Go to the iTunes App Store from the home screen on your iPod Touch or iPhone. Do so by tapping the iTunes App Store icon on the main screen. You need a working WiFi Internet connection on the iPod Touch. The iPhone should connect directly over the cell-phone network.

Enter the term "IMEEM mobile" into the "Search" bar on the App Store and click "Search." Tap the "IMEEM mobile" link to download the program to your iPod or iPhone. Wait for the download to finish.

Locate the IMEEM Mobile icon on your home screen or under "Downloaded Apps" on the home screen. Tap on the icon that looks like a cassette tape. Create a free IMEEM mobile account with a user name and password, then log in.

Type in names of artists or bands you want to hear into the IMEEM interface. The program will begin playing the selected band or artist followed by a similar artist. You do not need to actually download the song to hear it in full on your iPod.

Download the actual song to your iPod Touch or iPhone if you want to listen to it without IMEEM anytime by clicking the small "i" (for information) icon on the upper right-hand side of the screen while the song is playing. You will see an option to purchase the song from iTunes. Select this option and enter your iTunes login information if prompted. The song will be downloaded to the iPods memory and be accessible through the "Music Player" feature on your device's home screen.

Tips & Warnings
Build custom radio stations for different genres of music by clicking on "Create New Station" or "New Favorites" and selecting an artist to represent the chosen genre. You can make multiple IMEEM stations.
You may be charged for downloading songs from iTunes to your device. However, IMEEM streaming music is free to listen to if you do not buy it from iTunes.
