1
Make sure you have enough photos and memorabilia to create your wedding photo album. If you do not want to hire a photographer for your wedding, put disposable cameras at each table at your reception. Also, don't forget to collect items that were part of your wedding, such as the wedding program, invitations, save the dates, thank you notes and anything else with sentimental value.

2
Purchase a scrap book or photo album from your local craft store. You can choose from two main types of books: those with plastic inserts for your photos and those with blank pages. If you go with the latter, also choose adhesive, markers, die-cuts, stickers and whatever else you want to use for decorating purposes.

3
Plan each of your pages before attaching anything permanently. This will help you avoid mistakes and will create a cleaner photo album. It's best to place your photos in chronological order so the photo album is cohesive from beginning to end. Start with pictures from your engagement (if any) and work your way to the last song at your reception. You can even include a few photographs from your honeymoon.

4
Adhere all of the photos to your pages once you have finished with the preliminary layout. Pay attention to lines and details to create a beautiful, professional-looking wedding album. Crooked photos and gluey fingerprints detract from your photos.
-
5
Decorate your wedding day photo album with the supplies you purchased. Keep in mind that the more simplistic your design, the more emphasis there will be on the photographs. Use the white space to write a note about what is happening in the picture, or type out quotes or names that identify people in the photos and adhere them to the page.
