How to play better defense in Madden 10 on ANY console with defensive assignments

Having trouble covering certain stud skill position players in Madden 10? I've got the solution for you. Just like in real life, you can match up your best defender against whomever you'd like. So, for example if your playing the Patriots and Randy Moss just caught an 80 yard touchdown because he ran an out route from the slot while being covered by a linebacker... then try creating a defensive assignment to stop Randy from leading the league in YAC.

Things You'll Need:

• Gaming Console
• Controller
• Madden 10

1. While in game press start.

2. Scroll down to "Coaching Options" and select it.

3. Now, chose "Defensive Assignements".

4. Here is where all the magic happens. Chose wisely who to match up with certain players. You have the ability to match only one opponent with one of yor defenders... or all opponents with all defenders. I recommend chosing just one... possibly two if absolutely needed.
