CVS lets you use one CVS coupon and one manufacturer's coupon per item, so if you have a CVS coupon for lotion and a manufacturer's coupon for that same item, you can use both.
Do not buy what you do not need. If your coupon makes the item a great price, but you do not need it, do not buy it. If your coupon makes the item free, go for it. Extra Bucks expire and you cannot split them, so you may have to purchase extra items to "spend" all of your Extra Bucks. Peruse the travel size section or the candy bar aisle for inexpensive items to get to your minimum amount.
