The CVS ExtraCare program allows customers to save and earn on virtually all purchases in store and online. It's free to join the program and become an ExtraCare member. Once you are a member, you'll receive an ExtraCare card. Scan the card in stores to receive member benefits and check for coupons or special offers. If you are shopping online, you'll enter your ExtraCare card number. The program offers numerous ways to save on your CVS purchases.

ExtraSavings

CVS ExtraSavings are personalized coupons you receive on your receipt, online or at the in-store coupon kiosk. You simply scan your card or enter the phone number associated with the card to save and redeem your coupons. ExtraSavings are also available in the form of automatic weekly advertised sale prices. As an ExtraCare member, you'll receive the sale prices when your card is scanned at checkout. If you sign up for ExtraCare emails, CVS will send you exclusive savings and reward offers.

ExtraBucks

ExtraBucks are coupons that work like cash in the store. You can use ExtraBucks toward the purchase of almost anything in CVS. There are a few items you can't buy with ExtraBucks, including stamps and prescriptions. ExtraBucks are issued quarterly for 2 percent back on your purchases during that period. Certain items advertised in the weekly ad generate ExtraBucks when you make a purchase. If you bought a qualifying item, your ExtraBucks will print at the bottom of your receipt. The ExtraCare Beauty Club and ExtraCare Health and Pharmacy allow you to earn ExtraBucks for qualifying beauty purchases, immunizations, prescriptions and other health-related purchases.
