How to Clean the Internet Registry
Whenever you conduct an online search or type in a website address, your web browser saves that information for future use. Over time this data can clutter up your hard drive and slow down your computer. If you want to clear this data out to make room on your computer or to prevent other people from viewing your history, there are two options to take. You can either clean your Internet browsing history directly through the web browser or by manually deleting the history entries in the registry editor.

Tips & Warnings
If your computer is running Windows XP or an earlier operating system, you can also bring up the registry editor by typing "Regedit" into the "Run" field located in the "Start" menu.
Do not change any other entries in the registry editor. If you change or delete the wrong registry file, your computer may crash at random times or could stop booting up entirely.
