"You need to bring the outside in. There are multitudes of colors for you to choose from."
Green is the most restful of any color. It's mid-spectrum and works with almost any color scheme. Watch out for using pastels, though, as there are really none in nature. Trees and wildflowers all have vibrant colors. Even the colors of the sea and sky, while light, are still strong enough to make a statement. When you choose your color, use mat paint, not glossy.
