How to Build a Colonic Irrigation System

A colonic irrigation system is also known as an enema. It is a method of cleaning out the colon by flushing it with salt water. Doctors recommend the use of a colonic irrigation system to clear the colon out before a colonoscopy procedure. It also treats occasional constipation. You can buy an enema at any drugstore. You can also make a homemade enema solution. After making the solution in the proper bottle, it is inserted into the rectum as the recipient lays stomach down on the floor crouched on his knees. Squeeze the bottle to transfer the fluid into the colon, and wait for a bowel movement to be stimulated.
