How to Change a Heater Core in a 1992 Blazer
The heater core in a 1992 Chevy Blazer provides the heat that keeps you warm in the winter. The heater core operates on a simple principle. Heat from the engine cycles through the radiator and cooling system. This coolant heats up as it travels through the engine block. On its way to the radiator, some of this coolant is directed into the heater core and an electric fan blows the heat from the core into the passenger cabin. When the heater core dies, you must change it if you want to stay warm.
