Find out your Napster subscription ID before attempting to cancel your Napster subscription. Obtain your ID by logging into your Napster account or by looking at your credit card or bank billing statement. Your subscription ID will be listed on the same line as the service charge.

Contact the Napster customer care hotline. The telephone number is 1-866-620-1137. The department is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. When the automated service answers, press "1" to cancel your subscription.

Speak with the customer service representative when they answer. Tell them you would like to cancel your account and provide them with your subscription ID. It is likely the representative will attempt to persuade you to stay with Napster by offering you a special promotion, such as 30 days of free access. Politely decline and cancel the subscription unless you want to take advantage of the offer.

You can also cancel through the website. Click the drop down by your name at the top, click change membership plan, and then click 'cancel subscription.' I'm not sure how old this article is, but figured someone looking to do so could do it without the hassle of a phone call.
