How to Create a Group Policy Object

A Group Policy Object (GPO) is a collection of settings that define the look of a system and how it will behave for a defined group of users. Microsoft provides a program with a console (Group Policy Microsoft Management Console). The console allows programmers to select a GPO which is associated with directory centers for domains, organizational units or sites. The GPO provides the programmer with security options, software installation and maintenance options, scripts options, and folder redirection options.
