If you always find yourself waiting everyday for a short period of time (anywhere between five minutes to an hour or more) such as waiting for your ride or bus to arrive, you can occupy your time by playing a mind game.

Just use a search engine to find some games you can play inside your head while you wait. The best part is, playing mind games strengthens the brain.

If you're waiting for a few months for something, such as an acceptance/rejection letter from college or a job, the anticipation could feel suffocating. At this point, it's best to try to put it down at the bottom of your priorities and focus on something to occupy your time.

You can pick up a hobby or activity to keep you busy while you wait - even volunteer part-time somewhere. The experience will do you good, and it keeps your mind off of waiting until the time comes.
