How to Add an Email Newsletter Subscription Form to Your Facebook Page
An email newsletter is one more way to keep your fan base up to date on your latest news, whether you run a brick-and-mortar business or an online art gallery. Once you've set up a newsletter on a service, such as MNB at MyNewsletterBuilder.com or MailChimp at MailChimp.com, you can set up a sign-up section of your Facebook page using the FBML application. The simplest method for creating a sign-up page is to use an HTML form that gives users the option to input their email address and submit it directly from the FBML.
Things You'll Need
- You'll need a free trial version from GraphicMail and a Facebook Fan page.

1
Go to your Facebook page and click the "Edit Page" button in the upper right corner. Choose "Apps" from the left sidebar and scroll down to the FBML option among your applications. The FBML is present by default.
-
2
Click the "Edit Settings" link below the FBML. In the pop-up window, click the "Add" link to add the FBML section to your Facebook page.

-
3
Click "Go to App" below the FBML to go to the edit page. On the FBML page, you'll have a text box for the title of the section, and a larger text box for the body of your section.
-
4
Enter a brief descriptive title for your page, and copy the HTML for your email newsletter form into the larger FBML text box. A web-based subscription service should offer an HTML form for embedding into pages, though where this is located will vary, depending on what service you use. Check your service's documentation if you're unsure of how to share your newsletter.

5
Click "Save" to save the changes to your section. The link to your section will be listed on your page's left sidebar, below your page's profile photo, using the title you set for the FBML. View the section and test your form.

Tips & Warnings
You can also add information on the FBML page. The FBML supports a wide range of decorative HTML tags, as well as links and images within your section.
The FBML also works well with setting up a form for email subscriptions via FeedBurner.
Always test your forms to ensure that they work.
