Things You'll Need:
- Razor
- Shaving cream
- Warm water
-
Step 1
When you get into the bath tub, soak your legs a bit with warm water before you start to shave your knees. This will soften up your leg hair in preparation for the razor and get rid of any goose bumps cold air may present on your skin. Let your legs soak while you wash the rest of your body.
-
Step 2
Lather shaving cream on your legs and work on shaving your thighs first. After you're done with your thighs, start shaving your lower legs and calves. If your knees usually cut easily when you shave, shave your knees last so that they will have an additional soak in the warm bathtub water before being introduced to the razor.
-
Step 3
Now you're ready to start shaving your knees. Rub some shaving cream over your knees and soak your razor into the warm water. Bend your knees a bit to tighten your skin. Place the razor at the top of your knee and start moving it down slowly with short strokes until you've covered the whole knee. Place the razor at the bottom of your knee now and move slowly upward until the whole knee is shaved.
-
Step 4
Move on to the next knee and repeat Step 3. Finish shaving your knees and start rinsing your legs off, cleaning them with soap if you have to, and patting your legs dry with a clean towel. Feel free to moisturize your legs with lotion if they're dry.
