      To remove the ring stain around the bathtub, generously sprinkle it with baking soda. Spritz the baking soda with white vinegar from a spray bottle. Allow it to bubble for about 2 to 3 minutes, scrub with a damp sponge or rag and rinse thoroughly.

      To remove rust stains from your bathtub, liberally dust the rust stains with borax. Cut a lemon in half and work the borax into the stain with the lemon half while squeezing the juice out. It will take on a paste-like consistency. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Scrub with a damp sponge or rag and rinse well.

      To remove hair dye from your bathtub, make a 50-50 mixture of bleach and water in a spray bottle. Spray onto the stain and let sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with clean water.
