1
Cut out a small rectangle from the parchment paper. Cut off the corners of one side to make the shape of your gift tag. For something a little different, try experimenting with different shapes and sizes for your tags. Simply changing the shape can turn an ordinary gift tag into something extraordinary.

2
Punch a hole in one side of the gift tag. Leave at least one centimeter of paper around all edges of the hole, but do not place it too close to the center. Be sure to leave enough room to decorate the tag.

Using the rubber stamp and the gold ink, stamp an image of an angel onto one side of the tag. You can stamp a single image on the tag, or create a pattern by stamping multiple times. Make the image stand out by outlining it with the permanent marker.

Write the recipient's name on the tag using the gold permanent marker. Calligraphy looks nice, but try different fonts until you find one that you like. If you are using a larger stamp, you may want to write the name on the reverse side of the paper to prevent the design from looking too cluttered.

5
Thread a five-inch piece of ribbon through the hole in the tag. Use this to attach the tag to your gift. If you wish, use a longer piece of ribbon to create a decorative bow on your tag.
