How to Make Your Own Beer Pong Tables
Head out to parties of twentysomethings these days, and you'll find that the beer bong has been replaced by beer pong. What is beer pong? Two teams of two people stand at opposite ends of a table and try to shoot ping pong balls into all six beer-filled cups on the other end. As a team scores, the other team must drink from the cup. Make Your Beer Pong Table
-
1
Place the plywood on the floor. The side you want to be the top of the table should be facing the ground.
-
2
Position one 28-inch table leg to one corner of the plywood so it is sticking straight up in the air. The table leg can be any piece of wood that is 28 inches long so the table is official height.
-
-
3
Place an L-bracket so that one side of the L is against the table leg and one is against the plywood.
-
4
Drill screws into the L-bracket to secure the leg to the plywood.
-
5
Attach the remaining table legs to each corner of the plywood using the same process.
-
6
Turn the table upright. Use the sandpaper to rub away any roughness on the table.
-
7
Coat the table with wood stain of any color.
-
8
Paint the table however you wish. Many people choose their college colors. Get creative and have your table reflect your personality.
-
9
Spray the entire table with lacquer. Allow the table to dry between layers. Because the table will likely be splashed with alcohol, coat it with about five layers of lacquer.
