How to Fix an iPod Shuffle Charger

The iPod Shuffle relies on a charger that supplies power to the battery of the device via a computer or wall outlet. The most common reason for an iPod Shuffle's charger failing to operate is a connection error with a computer. Power cycling the device will often resolve the problem.

Instructions

1. Disconnect your iPod Shuffle via the charger cable from your computer.

2. Turn off your iPod by moving the power switch to the "Off" position. Wait 5-10 seconds.

3. Attach your iPod Shuffle via the charger cable to your computer.

4. Turn on your iPod by moving the power switch to the "On" position. A green stripe will be visible. Your iPod should begin to charge.
