Step 2
Vacuuming up the baking soda.
Next, vacuum up the baking soda and you should see some of the stain start to lift. Vacuum all of the baking soda from the stain. -
Step 3
Applying the carpet cleaner to the dried stain.
Next, apply a very generous amount of resolve carpet stain remover to the dried carpet stain. Then take your rag and soak it again in the hot water and start scrubbing the carpet stain remover into the carpet. Then take a clean rag and wipe away the excess carpet cleaner. -
Step 4
Reapplying the carpet cleaner.
Next, reapply another generous amount of the carpet stain remover to what is left of the stain and let it sit this time for about five minutes. Then scrub it in very very well and wipe the excess away. -
Step 5
Vacuum the carpet dry.
Lastly, with the combination of the hot water, baking soda and the carpet cleaner, you should not see the stain there anymore. Take your vacuum cleaner and vacuum the area of the stain until it is completely dry. There should be no more stain. If you still see a shadow of the stain left, reapply the carpet stain remover and leave it on longer before scrubbing in and vacuuming. This method realy works for removing dried carpet stains.
