Tips & Warnings
1. Look for the main idea of the question. Ask yourself what is this question asking me?
2. Look for key words in the question such as none, never, always, etc. Use these key words to rule out possible answers.
3. Mark an answer for every test question. If you leave it blank it is automatically wrong. If it was True/False the you have a 50% chance of answering it correctly. If it is a multiple choice question with four options then you have 25% chance of getting the test question answered correctly.
4. Don't change your first answer to the test question unless you are 100% sure that you made an error the first time around.
5. Read over the test once you've finished checking for simple errors such as missing a key word or simply reading the question wrong the first time.
As a last resort. If you really don't know the answer then these are some tips that may help you pass the test.
1. The length of the test choice can be a clue. Long answers are more likely to be correct.
2. If two answers seem to be the same with just different wording then they are likely to be wrong, both of them.
3. If two answers are completely different, then one of the answers given is likely to be correct. Select the one you think is best. Remember at this point you are guessing. It just sounds bad to recommend guessing on a test.
4. If an answer seems to be the most general then it may be the correct answer.
