Things You'll Need:
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 lime
- 1 onion
- garlic salt
-
Step 1
Dice the tomatoes and place in a bowl.
-
Step 2
Squeeze the juice of the lime over the top of the tomatoes.
-
Step 3
Sprinkle liberally with garlic salt and stir. I use Real Salt garlic salt. It is extremely delicious compared to regular garlic salt.
-
Step 4
Decide if you want to add onions or not. It is good either way.
-
Step 5
Add just a spoonful or two of chopped onion and stir. Taste.
-
Step 6
Add more garlic salt if needed.
-
Step 7
You can throw in some chopped peppers and/or cilantro for extra color and/or flavor. But using few ingredients makes it so simple that I do like it without any extras.
-
Step 8
Serve this with any Mexican main dish food. You might consider serving it with tacos. The tacos could consist of pinto beans, rice, sour cream, cheese, olives, lettuce, etc. in a tortilla. Add some homemade salsa and chips too for a well rounded meal. Burritos, tostadas, taco salad, and quesadillas are other good ideas.
