1
Eat slowly. Eating fast causes you to swallow excess air, and this often leads to gas. Limiting the amount of talking you do while eating can also stop gas.
-
2
Consume smaller meals. Eat four to six small meals a day to avoid overeating, which can alleviate digestive problems such as bloating and gas.

3
Drink plenty of water. Consume a minimum of eight glasses of water a day to keep your intestinal tract healthy and bowels regular.
-
4
Fight bloating and gas with fiber. Too little fiber leads to constipation, and infrequent bowel movements can trigger bloating and gas. Take supplements to reduce symptoms.
-
5
Eat the right foods. Beans, wheat products and certain vegetables are known to cause bloating and gas. Take an enzyme supplement like Beano prior to eating gassy foods.
-
6
Take supplements to assist your body with digesting lactose. The underlying cause of gas and bloating might be dairy. You're likely lactose intolerant if symptoms develop after consuming milk products. Buy lactose-free products or obtain digestive supplements

7
Go to the gym. Get active and fight chronic bloating. Schedule at least 30 minutes of exercise a day to reduce water weight and feel lighter.
-
8
Avoid carbonated drinks. Sodas and other carbonated beverages trigger bloating and gas--especially if you have a digestive disorder such as irritable bowel syndrome or acid reflux.
