Step 1
Shop around locally. Go to local flea markets and garage sales. You can find incredible deals at local garage sales and flea markets. The advantage to buying at a flea market or garage sale is that you can negotiate the price of an item if you feel it is too expensive to make a profit.
-
Step 2
Know where to shop locally. Some places may claim to have liquidation prices, but they really aren't. You have to know your prices. You can also shop local estate sales and once in a while you can find a storage space company that is selling abandoned merchandise.
-
Step 3
Check online for wholesale merchandise. The internet does have legitimate wholesale sites. You have to know where to look. Avoid sites that claim to be wholesale but do not require a tax I.D.
-
Step 4
Goodwill is great place to go and find cheap merchandise. Some of the best selling things on eBay are home decor items. Goodwill has all sorts of used vintage and other home decor items. One mans trash is another mans treasure.
