How to Reduce the Risk of Contracting Swine Flu

The risk of catching the swine flu grows as the flu season approaches. Since the swine flu is a fairly new strain of flu not everyone has built up immunity to the swine flu. There is however some basic common sense precautions that everyone can follow to reduce the risk of catching the flu. Even though some of these suggestions may seem to be extreme, you will at times need to use your own judgment.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Avoid contacting people if at all possible. Since swine flu or any other flu can be carried by touching someone who has the virus.

  2. Step 2

    Thoroughly wash your hands with warm water and soap frequently especially after using public restrooms.

  3. Step 3

    Sanitize office telephone with sanitizing wipes before touching the phone to use it.

  4. Step 4

    Carry sanitizing wipes with you at all times and use them right after touching anything or someone.

  5. Step 5

    Avoid placing your hands or fingers on your eyes, nose or mouth as this will transfer the virus into your system.

  6. Step 6

    Avoid eating at restaurants and dinners during flu season as this will lessen the chance of catching the swine flu.
