Now is the time to release anger positively! Anger slows you down and brings you down. Lets kick it out to the curb and have some fun!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Desire to be happy!
  • A heavy punching bag if you have one.
  • Source of music.
  • A pen and paper.
  1. Step 1

If you have a heavy punching bag, hitting the bag with all your strength is a great way to release anger in a positive way. Put on some great, fast music and look at that bag. If you do not have a heavy bag then simply choose an area on the wall to look at and punch the air in front of the bag. Now think about the reason that you are angry, see it in your mind. Put it in front of the bag or spot area. Now hit it, hard! Hit that anger with everything you have. Pace your self, hit it a little and walk around a little. Think about why you are angry as you do it. Figure it out as you are punching. Let out the anger every time you hit the bag or the air. See that anger leaving your body and being punched away. Continue to do this until the anger has simply dissipated and you are too tired to hit any longer. Now take a seat and breathe it out. Why were you so angry? Do you feel a little better? Can you see the complete reason for the anger a little more clearly now?

  2. Step 2

If you are angry at a person and you need to deal with the anger before you can calmly discuss the problem with the individual here is a great way to release the anger in a positive way before the actual discussion.
It may feel a little silly but it is a great way to let the anger go so that you can focus on the problem and the person with love in your heart instead of anger. Take a piece of paper and draw a face of that person on it. It can be just a circle with eyes and a mouth. the point is it represents the person. Put it on the wall or lean it up on something and begin to tell that person how you feel. Tell the picture everything that has made you so angry. Cry, yell, stomp your feet, do what ever you want to release your anger. After you have let it all out, and I mean all out, then look at that person and begin the discussion that you want to have with them. Talk to that picture with the love in your heart that you truly feel now that all that heavy anger is out of the way. See the problem clearly. Talk to the picture and work out the problem with out blame or anger but with an equal sense of responsibility and effort to solve the problem.

  3. Step 3

Here is one more way to release the anger that has you tied up in knots. Ask yourself this one question. If this was your last day on earth, would you still be angry? If you can say no, then you can release the anger. If it comes down to it, and the anger does not belong in your last hours on this earth, then it does not belong in your life. See this and let it go. When it comes down to truth, any day could be our last, and any day can possess a miracle just waiting to change our lives. Let this day, be the miracle.

Tips & Warnings
  • Listen to your body. Your stomach is trying to tell you as it is cramping and tight or nauseous, "Hey up there! I am holding on to too much! Change the way you are thinking so that I can change the way I am feeling!".
