Things You'll Need:

  • If you have a bread tube in your kitchen cupboard that remains unused because you haven't been able to locate a bread recipe in the correct proportions, get that tube out and get ready to make some bread. One loaf of French bread dough from your market's refrigerated section is exactly the right amount to make one round loaf of bread. Slice the bread thinly and eat it hot and steaming, or make sandwiches, canapés, desserts or breakfast bread.
  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Coat the inside of the tube and the insides of the two end caps with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Step 2

Cap one end of the bread tube and set the tube upright on a baking sheet. Open the bread dough container and put the dough into the bread tube.

  3. Step 3

Put the remaining end cap on the top of the bread tube. Bake the bread for 50 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Remove the bread from the oven and take off both end caps. Push the hot bread onto a wire rack and allow it to cool.
