Titanium wedding rings can be a stylish, yet inexpensive alternative to buying a diamond ring. Wedding jewelry has been made out of titanium for as long as the metal has been in existence. Titanium is becoming more and more popular when it comes to men's wedding bands and even female engagement wedding rings. 18k gold wedding bands are being substituted for wedding sets made of much stronger more durable metals such as titanium wedding rings, platinum wedding rings, tungsten carbide wedding band rings, and even black tungsten carbide rings. So if you have the desire to be a little different, here are some great tips on where to find titanium wedding bands.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer/Internet connection
  • Phone
  1. Step 1

Visit Titaniumkay.com. Titaniumkay specializes in titanium jewelry and has a large assortment of men's titanium wedding rings. I personally bought a titanium 8mm wedding band from them about 3 months ago and love it. They have some amazing titanium artcarved wedding bands in the men's rings section. I have included a link to their site at the bottom of the page in the resources section.

  2. Step 2

Call your local jeweler. Most good jewelers can find, order, or make any custom titanium wedding ring you are looking for. They can even set a diamond into a titanium band to make a stunning women's titanium engagement ring.

  3. Step 3

Search Ebay in the Jewelry category for "Titanium Wedding rings". You can find a lot of new and used titanium rings listed by private parties or jewelers direct. There are many great deals to be found if you just do a little snooping around. Sometimes wholesales will have bulk amounts of titanium and tungsten rings and are forced to sell them at discounted prices.

on 9/11/2009 I thought titanium was only used for prosthesis such as legs or cars of things of that nature. It's that space age metallic, strong, chemically made stuff. Good article and one day I want to see a ring made of this metal. Sounds cool. Great article. Jswana 5*
