Pulling. Find a straight road. To find out if your car is out of alignment, hold the steering straight as you go forward. If your car pulls right or left, your car is out of alignment.

Wacky wheel. If you have to hold your steering wheel at an angle to drive straight, your car may be out of alignment. You need to have your vehicle inspected by a mechanic as soon as possible.

Wheel wear. Inspect your tire. If your tire wears unevenly, your car may be out of alignment. You will need to get an alignment and change your tire before you get a flat.

Turn return. When you turn, see if your steering wheel will return to its original position. If the wheel feels sluggish or loose, you may have alignment problems.
