Step 1
Safety First:
Turn off / unplug fixture and allow light bulbs to cool. Tighten light bulbs to prevent moisture from entering sockets.
Important Tip: Safety starts with selecting the right cleaning products. Choose cleaning products that are environmentally safe and free of harsh chemicals that can pollute your breathing space with harmful fumes. -
Step 2
Cleaning Prep:
Place a towel or absorbent floor covering underneath the fixture to catch excess solution which may drip during the drying process. -
Step 3
The Cleaning Process:
Hold sprayer 3-6 inches away from fixture. Generously spray fixture starting from the bottom, working your way up and then down until all surfaces are thoroughly coated. Keep the fixture stationary while you maneuver around it.
When selecting a chandelier cleaning product, look for an adjustable spray nozzle that allows you to control the spray stream. Also look for a handle that releases maximum spray with little effort. Important Tip: Never Spin Your Chandelier since this may cause your fixture and/or its crystals to fall. -
Step 4
The Drip-Dry Process:
Allow fixture to drip-dry for 20-30 minutes. Use a chamois cloth or soft hand towel to check the lower parts of your lighting fixture for any cleaning solution that hasn't dripped dry before turning your lighting fixture on.
Important Tip: If fixture is especially dirty, a second coat may need to be applied. Once fixture is clean, a maintenance cleaning every other month is all it takes to keep your fixture Brilliantly clean.
