How to Make Homemade Wedding Favors

- Large pretzels
- Chocolate candy melts
- Glass bowl
- Parchment paper
- Sprinkles
- Heart-shaped candies
- Cellophane bags
- Hole punch
- Ribbon

Melt candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 15 seconds to prevent burning.

Dip the pretzels one by one in the melted chocolate, covering half of the pretzel. Lay the pretzels side by side on the parchment paper.

Sprinkle the pretzels with colored sugar crystals or other colorful sprinkles. Press a candy heart into the center of each pretzel and let them cool.

Remove the pretzels from the parchment paper, and place one pretzel in each bag.

Fold over the top of the bag. Punch two holes, 1 inch apart, through the folded portion of the bag, at least 1 inch below the fold.

Thread ribbon through the holes and tie it with a bow to seal the bag.

Tips & Warnings
You can order personalized ribbon from online retailers that can be printed with your names and wedding date. Choose ribbon that matches the color of your wedding. Use sprinkles that coordinate with your wedding colors to tie in your theme. Melt the chocolate in small batches so it doesn't harden before you finish dipping the pretzels.
Be careful when removing the bowl from the microwave as the chocolate can get very hot and could cause burns.
