How to Create a Yahoo ID Home Page

Yahoo! is a popular Internet company that provides a variety of services, such as travel, news, weather and sports information, as well as email and Yellow Pages access. Yahoo! ID is a page where you enter your credentials (user name and password) to log in to the Yahoo! account. Setting Yahoo! ID as a home page in the web browser, such as Internet Explorer, reduces the time needed to access your Yahoo! account.

Instructions

1. Open Internet Explorer and navigate to the Yahoo! website (see Resources).

2. Click on the "Sign in" link in the top-right portion of the web page to navigate to Yahoo! ID.

3. Click the Internet Explorer menu "Tools" and "Internet Options."

4. Select the tab "General" and click "Use Current" under "Home page." Click "OK" to create Yahoo! ID as your home page.
