Things You'll Need:
- a domain name
- minimum 80mb host (FTP)
- FTP sharing client (cuteFTP)
- Copy of your forum script (IPB)

Step 1
Organize your script in one folder on the desktop (in our case the script is IPB it can be numerous other forum scripts which are available)

Open your FTP sharing client (in our case CuteFTP)

In the FTP sharing client make a new ftp connection and enter your host, administrator's username and administrator's password. Which is written in your hosts control panel

After adding you FTP space in your client double click on it and open it, find a location where you will upload your site (forum)

Open your forum folder which we earlier placed on the desktop, find the Upload folder in it open it up and upload everything inside that folder onto your FTP

After you upload all the files, go to your domain e.x www.mydomain.com
you will automatically be redirected to www.mydomain.com/install if not than go to that address manually. -
Step 7
After doing this youll see on screen instructions which youll have to follow at one point youll reach the CHMODing section, in that section the installer give you the names of the folders and files which you have to CHMOD to do so open the FTP client again go to your FTP space and find the specified folders or files, right click on them, properties and youll find the CHMOD number there, change it to what the insallers says, usually they require us to change them to 777

After this follow the instructions again and youll reach the installation point where the script starts to install the site, after its finished you and your forum are ready for visitors and members :)
