How to Make Spice Pineapple Mousse

This is a quick dessert that will be a crowd pleaser for any event or social gathering. It's a great light and refreshing summer dessert that will go along with any meal. It's so simple to make you can even get your kids involved.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 6 oz can frozen pineapple juice
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1.2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream (1 pint)
  • 2 egg whites
  • maraschino cherries
  • pineapple slices
  • favorite nuts
  • 7-8 parfait glasses or small cups
  1. Step 1

    Thaw the pineapple juice. Add the nutmeg, vanilla and sugar into the juice. Blend the ingredients thoroughly until all evidence of the spices have dissolved.

  2. Step 2

    Fold whipping cream into mixture. Do not over mix. The end result should look like a beautiful yellow billowy cloud.

  3. Step 3

    Add beaten egg whites(soft)until mixture is thoroughly blended. Be careful not to over mix.

  4. Step 4

    Place the mixture unto 7-8 small cups or parfait glasses. Freeze overnight.

  5. Step 5

    Remove from freezer approximately 1/2 before serving. Add additional whip cream for topping if desired. Top with maraschino cherries, sliced pineapple or favorite nuts.

  6. Step 6

    Go ahead and give this recipe a try and impress the heck out of everybody!
