Well Football Season is here and the cold weather is approaching. I will tell you how to make the best dip everyone will be talking about. Lets get started.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 9x13 baking dish
  • 5 packages of Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 5 cans Hormel chili
  • 1 16oz bag of Kraft shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 to 2 Bags of Tortilla chips
  1. Step 1
    Philly Cream Cheese

    Philly Cream Cheese

Take out the 5 packages of cream cheese from the refrigerator and let stand on the counter until soft. Once they are soft turn the oven on to 350. Then take your clean 9 x 13 baking dish and start spreading the cream cheese on the base and go up half way on the sides of the dish. Try to make it as even as possible.

  2. Step 2

Open the cans of your Hormel chili or if you make your own you can use that too. Pour chili over the cream cheese and spread it around evenly so all areas are covered.

  3. Step 3
    Cheese

Now open the package of shredded cheddar cheese. If you like you can buy the bricks and shred it yourself because sometimes the bricks are on sale and you can save some money. Spread the cheese evenly over the whole dish to make a nice thick layer of cheese. Now its time to put it in the oven. Cook at 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes. Don't under cook it. Watch for the cheeses to bubble or turn brown then you know its done.

  4. Step 4
    Tortilla Chips

Once its done baking pour some tortilla chips in a bowl and serve. Trust me your family and friends will ask you to make this often so keep this handy. Enjoy and Bon Appetite.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can make a larger portion just use a larger dish and buy more products.
  • You can but other brands of products. I like Hormel, Kraft and Philadelphia cream cheese for my taste.
  • Add different colored tortilla chips to make it more festive.
  • Warn your guests that its a hot dish and to be careful when eating.
  • Serve right away because it is best when its warm.
  • Place something under the dish so you don't burn your table.
  • Don't give out this recipe keep them wanting more.
