Organizing a birthday party doesn't have to break your pocket. A party can be fabulous without too much investment. Here are some ideas to help you prepare an affordable and amazing birthday party.

  1. Step 1

    STOCK PARTY GOODS WHEN YOU FIND IT ON SALE!
    It's a good idea to browse the store ads before start making your shopping. You can find great deals like buy one get one free of juice boxes, sodas, chips, etc. You save money when you think in advance and this products can be stock for a while.

  2. Step 2

    MAKE YOUR OWN CAKE OR BUY IT IN A WHOLESALE STORE!
    If you are good in the kitchen and have just a few guest, you can make your own cake or cupcakes for nothing. If you have many guests, you can consider purchase your cake from a wholesale store like Costco, BJ's or Sam's Club; They sale good taster cakes for less than $20.00 and they personalized your message.

  3. Step 3

    FOOD!
    A very easy and cheap food could be Pizza, Chicken Nuggets, chips and juices (this could be for kids) and for adults why not a cold beer with a pizza too?

  4. Step 4

    DON'T EXAGERATE ON DECORATIONS AND PARTY SUPPLIES!
    To buy cheaper party supplies, you can visit your nearest dollar store and buy napkins, cups, plates, table cloths, balloons, etc.
    Another way to save in this is ask one of your best friend for pre loved decorations and reuse it.

  5. Step 5

    GOODIE BAGS!
    If the party is for kids, you can have an excellent surprise for them for just a little $1. Don't forget to visit your dollar store and buy different bags there of candies, mini-balls, etc. in order to create your bags. You can wrap them in leftover fabric and attach it with a ribbon that you create.

  6. Step 6

    HOST THE PARTY FREE!
    You can have your party in your house or a friend house. Another excellent place is a public park. If now is time to save money don't think in kid gyms or renting bounces or something like that, they charge a lot for just 90 minutes gathering.

  7. Step 7

    LIMIT THE GUEST LIST!
    When thinking about guests, don't remember all the people that was in your life for the whole year, just think about your best friend and the nearest one. The idea is to have a good time together and not cry later when you find your bank account broken.
