Step 1
Launch your browser and go to www.omegle.com. You should see a large window that is primarily white space with a button to begin chatting.

Once you are connected with a stranger, begin typing. A good place to begin is to ask the gender, location, and/or the age of the other user. Identify common interests as that is a good way to have something to talk about with someone you otherwise know nothing about. When in doubt, ask questions as a means of gaining rapport.

Remember not to give away private information. While Omegle does not divulge your IP or other information to the other chatter, the private nature of the chat erodes if you give away your personal information like name or other identifying data. If the other chatter claims they are from the FBI or are reporting your IP address, be aware this is a hoax.
