Step 1
AUTUMN WALK- Take your children out for an autumn walk. Walk around your neighborhood with your children and ask them to pick out autumn colored leaves. Tell your children to look for red, orange, yellow, and brown leaves. Pick up these different colored leaves and bring them home with you to make an autumn wreath.
-
Step 2
AUTUMN WREATH- Once you get back from the autumn walk make an autumn wreath with your children. Help them cut out a large circle out of brown construction paper. Show children how to to place glue on the back of their leaves. Next, have them place the leaves all around the brown circle. Let the wreath dry for at least 2 hours. Children can hang it on their bedroom door.
-
Step 3
AUTUMN GARDEN- Create a fall garden or autumn garden with your children. Research what plants grow best in the fall in your area. Buy some of these plants and teach your children how to plant seeds, plants, and flowers in the Autumn Garden.

on 10/24/2009 I love the Fall. I enjoy the sweaters and boots. Seeing the trees are like therapy. To some it can seem lonely but to me, it soothes me. Thank you and I will try these things. Peace.
