Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • All-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 lbs. chopped beef
  • milk
  • salt
  • butter
  • pasta sauce
  • 1/4 onion
  • american cheese
  • Two 8X8X2 pans
  • Large mixing bowl
  • rolling pin
  • measuring cups & spoons
  • Large frying pan
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven 400 degrees F. In mixing bowl, sift together 2 cups flour & 1/2 tsp. salt. Add 5 tbls. of butter & cut butter into flour until butter pieces are small as peas. Mix in 5 tbls. of milk.

  2. Step 2

    Mix until dough-like. Then divide dough in half. Mould each dough piece into a ball. Make one ball slghtly bigger than other. On floured board, roll out doughballs into square shapes, the larger ball making a larger square.

  3. Step 3

    Place each dough square into a pan; pierce dough with fork to prevent pie from exploding. Bake in oven for 10-15 min. unil pie shells brown. Chop quarter onion.

  4. Step 4

    While shells are baking, brown chopped beef in pan. Add a cup of pasta sauce of your choice to meat, along with chopped onion. Tear up 3 slices of cheese, and scatter them in meat. Salt & pepper optional.

  5. Step 5

    After removing shells from oven, lower temp to 350 F. Pour meat mix into bigger shell. Cover meat mix with smaller shell. Heat for 20 min.
    Divide into 4 pieces.
