I made these a few years back and i absolutely loved them. I love chocolate chip cookies and I love oatmeal so one day I decided to combine them and out came a delicious cookie!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 11.5 ounce bag of Nestle Toll House Milk Chocolate Morsels
  • 1 cup oats
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream Butter and sugars together until light and fluffy, add vanilla and eggs until well mixed.

  2. Step 2

Mix flour, salt and baking soda together, slowly add to the wet ingredients until well mixed. Use a spoon to get any flour that didnt mix into the batter.

  3. Step 3

Add oatmeal, mix well until combined. Batter will look a little lumpy because of oatmeal. Fold in chocolate chips until well distributed.

  4. Step 4

Spoon onto a ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes until golden brown. I take mine out right after they start looking done and are turning brown for a perfectly gooey cookie!

  5. Step 5

For a fun addition, after baking you could melt some chocolate and shortening to make a glaze and you could dip half the cookie int the chocolate mixture. After you dip it you would then place on parchment paper to become solid.
