If you have pets you should know how to get rid of pet stains, because pets occasionally urinate inside. And while pet stains are a nuisance, they are not necessarily permanent. If you attack the stain before it sets, getting it up can be as easy as wiping with a paper towel. But if the pet stain has had time to set or has an odor, removing it can become difficult.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Kid's 'N' Pets stain remover
  • 2 white wash cloths
  • vacuum cleaner
  1. Step 1

Blot and wipe up the stain as much as possible.

  2. Step 2

Squirt a liberal amount of Kids 'N' Pets onto the stain or squirt the liquid onto a wash cloth and hold it to the stain.

  3. Step 3

Allow the liquid to set for 5 minutes. If the stain is heavy or old, the Kids 'N' Pets cleaner may need to sit for 60 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Blot up the Kid 'N' Pets cleaner with your wash cloth. The stain will come up with the liquid.

  5. Step 5

Vacuum the area where the stain once was if possible. If the stain is on drapes or furniture use a hand vacuum.

Tips & Warnings
  • Clean the stain as soon as possible. The sooner you get to it, the easier it will come up.
  • Do not scrub stains as this can push it even further into the soiled area.
