A worksheet is a set of data organized in columns and rows. Examples of data that can be organized as worksheets are a set of data, bank balances or financial reports. Microsoft Excel is an application designed to work with worksheets that also allows to make worksheet graphs.

      Launch Microsoft Excel 2007.

      Press "Ctrl+O" on the keyboard to bring up the "Open" window. Browse your computer and find a worksheet file. Double-click on the file to open it in Excel.

      Holding the mouse left button, select worksheet cells (or the entirle worksheet) you wish to plot.

      Click the menu "Insert" and choose a desired graph style under the section "Charts" to insert a graph object in the current Excel sheet. The common choices are "Line," "Bar," Column or "Pie" charts (see figure).

      Place the mouse cursor inside the graph box, and move the graph to a desired position while holding the mouse left button.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can insert multiple graphs within the same Excel sheet as shown on the figure.
