How to Get Rid of Skin Discoloration Naturally

Apply a turmeric mixture to the discolored areas. Turmeric spice contains a potent compound called curcumin. It has skin lightening and antioxidant properties. Add 8-10 tbs. of turmeric to half a glass of milk and stir until dissolved. Add half a cup of gram flour so that the solution becomes thick enough to apply to the skin. Gently rub the mixture onto the discolored areas and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse well. Apply this mixture once a day.

Apply an orange peel mixture to the discolored areas. Orange peels contain natural acids which can help lighten the skin. Add 1-2 cups of orange peels into a blender and blend until it turns into a paste. Add one cup of fresh milk into mixture and puree for about 10 seconds. Apply the paste on the discolored areas and let dry for 30 minutes once daily. Rinse off completely and pat dry.

Apply potato paste to the discolored skin. Potatoes include high amounts of catecholase a potent skin lightening substance found in many skin bleaching products. Add one potato (include the peel) into a blender and blend until it turns into a paste. Gently rub the paste on the discolored skin and leave on for 30 minutes to one hour. Rinse well and pat dry. Apply potato paste once a day.

Apply almond honey paste to the affected area. The proteins in almonds and honey have a bleaching effect on the skin. Add one cup of raw unsalted almonds into a blender with half a cup of honey. Blend until pasty. Gently rub the mixture onto the discolored skin for 30 minutes. Apply the paste once a day.

Rub lemon juice on the discolored areas. Lemon juice contains citric acid which is known to lighten skin and hair. Squeeze a fresh lemon on the skin and gently rub and leave on for 15 minutes. You can apply lemon juice before applying any of the remedies above. Do this once a day.
