Wedding Websites are one of the most memorable concepts to arrive on the scene recently! A Free Wedding Website allows you to use the latest technology to share your wedding with family and loved ones, from the time the date is set until you post the honeymoon photos! And it's pretty cool, too!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Free Wedding Website
  1. Step 1

Start Your Free Wedding website with a Home Page. Your Home Page should have have your title such as the Smith - Jones Wedding. You would want to have your Wedding Announcement on your home page, as well as a nice Welcome To Our Wedding Website Greeting and a Photo or two of the Bride to Be and her Future Husband! It generally pays to register the domain name so it is easier for family and friends to find. An example would be to register the domain name www.Smith.JonesWedding.com

  2. Step 2

The next 2 pages when you get a Free Wedding Website is to have a Ceremony Page and a Reception Page. Before your wedding, you would want each page to include all the details about each. You would want to include information for your guests, such as where each is being held, the times, anything special you want your guests to know, etc. For example, if your wedding ceremony will be at the oldest church in your state, you might want to include that. On the reception page, in addition to the above info, you might want to include the menu, the entertainment, any special toast, dance or song, etc.

  3. Step 3

Next you should include a Bridal Registry page in your Free Wedding Website. This should be fairly simple, primarily showing any info about where the Bride is registered, including contact information and directions.

  4. Step 4

You will want a Hotel Page in your Free Wedding Website. Here you would list any Hotels or Motels that out of town guests might want to stay at. Include their address, phone numbers and websites if possible. If any offer a lower rate for your wedding guests, include that as well.

  5. Step 5

The Family Page should have photos of both the Bride's and Groom's parents and close family members. As an alternative, you could have a Bride's family page and a separate Groom's Family page on your free wedding website. This could eliminate any concern because of favoring one side or the other on one page. Give this some thought!

  6. Step 6

The Bridal Party page should have photos of what else - your bridal party! This could be done as a group, individually, as couples, or any other convenient way. You could include any bio info here to make it fun, such as including tag lines for each such as "Hopes to Meet His Future Wife Here!" next to each photo. See if your bridal party and family would enjoy this on your free wedding website.

  7. Step 7

Some people add a Close Friends Page, as this can help to honor close friends, especially if the wedding party contains family out of obligation, and a best friend could have a bruised ego. Adding a photo and a well - wishing tag line can make your free wedding website a bit more personal.

  8. Step 8

Now comes a Things To Do Page. This is really more important if you have some guests coming from out of town, who might need or want some places of interest or places to eat. Remember, while your busy with your ceremony, a second cousin and his family might have to keep kids occupied the day before your wedding!

  9. Step 9

A great value for your guests from your free wedding website is a Directions Page. Include directions to the Ceremony, to the Reception, to any Photo taking spot where you wish guests to be, and any other directions that could be important. If several people are flying in and staying at a hotel, include those directions as well.

  10. Step 10

Lastly, add either a Contact Page or a Wedding Blog to your free wedding website. If you add a contact page, list phone numbers for all important places, but be careful not to reveal private phone numbers, as this is a public website. It is better to make use other means such as your Free Wedding Blog, and encourage your guests to leave comments and you'll post replies on the blog. This is the future.

  11. Step 11

As a follow up, after the Ceremony, don't forget to post your photos of your Ceremony and your Reception on the appropriate pages. At that point, you probably would add a Honeymoon Page on your free wedding website, with photos of any exotic places that you wish to share! Congratulations - Get Your Free Wedding Website Below!
