You will learn how to correctly apply make-up from your foundation, concealer, blush, eye shadows, eye liner and mascara without getting little smudges on your top eyelid when applying, and your finishing touch of lip color.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Foundation
  • Concealer
  • Blush
  • Eye Shadows
  • Eye liner
  • Mascara
  • Lip color
  1. Step 1

To begin, apply your foundation in a well lite room. Apply your make-up in the same lighting each time if possible. To apply your foundation, with your hand, sponge or brush, move in upward circular motions beginning at your neck. Never start in a downward motion. This causes loss of elasticity and sagging begins. Blend well around all areas of your hair line. Carefully check for streaking and splotching before moving to the next step, concealer.

  2. Step 2

To apply your concealer, I recommend using your ring finger. This is the most delicate finger to use in order to achieve smooth unnoticeable coverage. Lightly pat onto any dark areas, under the eyes, and any red spots or blemishes you want to conceal. Note: When trying to cover blemishes ore red spots, go for a yellow toned concealer.

  3. Step 3

Blush: With light brush strokes, begin two finger widths from your nose and brush in a n upward circular motion, do not draw a line with the brush, this is your face, not a coloring book. Blend just to the area around your temple. This helps to give the appearance of a lift.

  4. Step 4

Eye Shadows: I suggest using three colors. One light as your base, a medium shade, and a dark shade to finish it off. Begin with the light shade, using a brush, cover eyelid from lash line to brow. Next take your medium shade and covering from lash line to crease. Last, take your darkest shade with an angle brush, make a slight angle from lash line to crease on the outer edge of your eye, then sweep inward at the crease of you eye toward the nose. Lightly blend starting at your outer edge fanning inward and upward with your the brush you used to apply your base shade.

  5. Step 5

Eye Liner: Take you eye pencil and begin with your lower lash line. Start at the outside corner an lightly dot, LIGHTLY, across your lash line toward your tear duct. Then fill in the areas you missed to create a nice neat line. Repeat this process for your top lash line. To create a more opened eye look only go halfway across. Top and bottom lash lines.

  6. Step 6

Mascara: Begin with your lower lashes. Slightly wiggle mascara wand across lower lashes them brush downward to complete. Then to finish, repeat process for top lash making several stroke over them to get a nice thick full long look, if that is the look you want. Beginning with your lower lashes, keeps from having any smudging on the top eyelid, caused by blinking with wet lashes, when you begin on the top.

  7. Step 7

Lip Color: Choose your favorite shade of lipstick or gloss and apply for the look you are going for and SHINE.
