You will discover the (not so) secret to sleeping better each night. As a result, you will begin to feel refreshed, rested and energized during the day. Sleeping better leads to an improved mood, better health and increased productivity.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a regular sleep schedule
  • a comfortable place to sleep
  • relaxation
  • peace and quiet
  1. Step 1

    Be sure that you are sleeping in a place that is appropriate for sleep. Places that are the most appropriate for sleep should be quiet, comfortable and relaxing!This will increase the chances that you will feel well-rested, refreshed and energized the next morning.

  2. Step 2

    Be sure that you try to go to bed at the same time each night. This will help you to establish a regular sleep schedule which will allow you to develop a better sleep pattern. Regular sleep patterns and schedules are a key part of good health and well being.

  3. Step 3

    Be sure that your activities before bed are quiet and relaxing. These activities could include reading a book or listening to soft music. Doing such things will not overstimulate you and will help to calm you for sleep.

Tips & Warnings
  • It is best to get eight hours of sleep each night.
  • Don't exercise right before bed.
  • Don't sleep with the television turned on.
  • At least three hours before bed, stop eating or drinking things that contain caffeine.
